I love them both equally so it's a rare tie for me this time. The styling of both is beautiful; the Chrysler radiates powerful luxury while the DeSoto radiates powerful sportiness. I must say though that the 2-tone color choice and application on the DeSoto would likely have made it my pick as a car buyer back in the day.
I've got to go with an impossible choice as well. They are both fantastic for different reasons. A tie for me too.

I like both. I voted for the Chrysler because it's still around...kinda.

I like the “powerful sportiness” of the DeSoto!👍

The 1956 Chrysler 300B is my favorite American car of the 1950s. While the DeSoto is also beautiful, I'm voting Chrysler.

Isn't often I'll concede to a TIE, but on this one, I've no choice. TIE!

With virtually identical sheet metal, all the trim details (of which there are many!) from front to rear make the DeSoto more interesting to my eye. Chrysler may be more elegant in its understated way but that DeSoto just POPS!

Well said, however I prefer that Chrysler because I believe it just has a cleaner and better look to its styling.

Both beautiful, but it's the color scheme on the DeSoto that gives it a bit more flare.

Pretty tight voting in all three catagories on this one
