These cars are so different: the Chevy is outrageous while the Ford is (somewhat) restrained. I lean towards the Ford for its styling, but the Chevy for what seems to be higher quality.

So I punted and gave them a tie.

Another toughie! I really like both, the Ford for its relative simplicity and elegance compared to the rest of the '59 field, and the Chevy for sheer flamboyance just short of the '59 Caddy. Today I vote for the Chevy.

I never have liked the styling treatment for 1959 for Chevrolet. Not that keen on Ford either but it is better.

Sorry to keep saying it but the '59 Ford was a bit too boxy. The Chevy was wonderfully outrageous and I loved it at the time but, looking back, the front end and the spiky back end didn't quite seem to belong to the same car.

Now give me a '60 Ford and a '60 Chevy and I'll declare a glorious tie.

I am too conservative for the Chevy's outrageous styling but the Ford is a bit too square for me.  But I prefer the Ford of these two.

Easy for me.  The Chevy!  The 1959 styling from GM has and will forever be remembered.  While the square boxy styling of the Ford Company cars leaves them just ho-hum.

Well I'm sure you gentlemen know from all my previous posts the Chevy is my pick. I love that car. When my dad brought it home I was 6 years old it was white had the white walls on it and had that multi-blue interior.

That was the first car I ever fell in love with....

I prefer the Ford styling and love this well trimmed car in black as shown.  Chevy is a close second.
