For a week before my daughter's wedding, I kept telling everyone that when the minister asks who gives this woman away, I was going to say, "Bond. James Bond." They laughed, no one believed it. During dress rehearsal, in my tux, I was playing the 007 game and answered forcefully. Some people started to wonder if I would or not. A pool was started. Tensions mounted, I walked her down the aisle. We stopped and the question was asked. Nonchalantly, I looked back at the crowd, then Heather to give her a wink and said, "Her mother and I do." The huge crowd actually breathed a sigh of relief.
@perrone1 Haha.....your choice of responses was the right one Tony and I would say the pause and glance to the crowd was perfect timing....leave the crowd stirred, not shaken. Very nice pic of you and the Missus btw.
