Gotta go with the Olds here with that killer color combo.

I'm giving the Olds the nod from its recovery from the horrible 58s.

'58 & '59 Mercury & Oldsmobile NO thank you, leaves the DeSoto by default. For '59 there were only three cars I liked the design of; Dodge & Thunderbird & Pontiac.

DeSoto, Oldsmobile, then Mercury here John. Family ownership influenced my choices but all are appealing.

I pick Oldsmobile over DeSoto but it's almost even as I really like both cars.  The colors displayed tipped it to Olds.  The Mercury is a very distant third.

1) Oldsmobile  2) DeSoto  3) Mercury

I did not like Mercury at all for '59, but was happy that it was still its own car and not a Ford clone.  The DeSoto was so much better than the previous two years (57/58), but as much as I like it, it pales in comparison to the incredible OLDSMOBILE.

Kudo's for choosing the beautiful '59 Oldsmobile, but boo, hiss, for your comment about the '58.  LOL, I like the '58.  Smile

I never choose by color choice..only by styling which I think you've intended John.

If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Today I choose the the Olds.

The other two are tied or/and not cared about.

Thanks for all your time to appease us..lol.

Steve, there is no set criteria for choosing which one you like best. Some pick style, color, sentiment, performance, manufacturer, getting lucky or whatever else influences you on any particular day.
