Wow! Love that Buick, but I have to go with the elegant-looking Mercury.

I’m having a tough time with this poll. Both are beautiful wagons. Love the colors of the Buick, but I equally love the faux wood siding on the Colony Park. I guess it comes down to sedan vs hardtop, and the hardtop wins. Mercury by a fraction.
The only full-size Buick I actually like is the '60, but I don't do station wagons especially with phony wood on them. No interest today.
I just can't look past the Buick and its sculpture. Even as a station wagon and even as a sedan - you can still open all windows and take in the air. I'm so impressed with the wings above the headlights, as they transition like a cape, over the fenders and melt seamlessly into the body. But it picks back up at the top of the back door and flies as a wing once again - it's aero-gorgeous!
Buick for me please John.
Mercury. It's less flamboyant and it's red. I like the wood too.

Tony nailed it for me perfectly. I never was a fan of the '60 Mercury. They were pretty homely. JMHO though. But hey, we all have our own tastes.😊
I went with the Mercury as it looks like the family truckster for National Lampoon's Vacation.
The Mercury for me because it's a hardtop. I love these hardtop wagons regardless who made them.
Not really a fan of either but I do like wagons. They were fun to ride in. Seat facing out the back no seatbelts. We lived dangerously then and never gave it a second thought.
Buick, but the Merc looks good too.
My wife had several Mercury wagons in the 60s and early seventies. She loved them all. Mercury Colony Park please John.
I love the '60 Mercury wagon with or without the Faux wood but I must say that this Buick appeals too, especially because of its rarity. This one is close but the Mercury gets the nod.
Very close today, as I absolutely love both cars for 1960.
These two, along with the Chrysler, to my eyes are the three gorgeous cars for this year. Everything else paled by comparison.
I'd take either of todays choices in a heartbeat, if given the choice of having only one, the MERCURY wins out! It flows better in the roof-line than the Buick and it's a hardtop to boot.
