Neither are favorites but I don't totally dislike either one particularly. Think I'll vote Poncho on this one.
Sorry Tony, the tail of that Dodge is so much better looking. I had to pick the Dodge.

You're right; it IS nice. But when they lengthened it, they totally forgot to bring the fins back too. Dodge designers - such the kidders!!
I can see that attraction in the Dodge. But, for me, it was as if they were trying just a bit too hard. I had a friend with a '60 Bonneville with a four-speed and tri-carb setup. It had a killer interior! I vote for Pontiac.

That Dodge rear end just never appealed to me. I have to go with the Pontiac.
The Dodge seems almost comical styling on the tail end. The Pontiac this year was decent enough but fell short compared to the shoulder years. I vote Pontiac.
After the outstanding styling and beautiful lines of the '59 Pontiac, it was totally robbed of all of both on the '60.
For that reason, though I'm not ga-ga over the '60 Dodge either, when compared to the Pontiac, DODGE WINS!

Never a fan for either. The Pontiac lost all of its pizazz in 1960 IMO. The Dodge perhaps gained a bit too much. I vote for Pizazz...Dodge.
I also voted for the Dodge because it looks outrageous. It makes me think of the Jetsons.
I like the Pontiac too, though.

Both are very nice and would love either in my garage. Probably should vote tie, but no I vote Dodge, looks better in the pics presented.
John B. You did GOOD! Evenly split and good arguments, for and agin both cars. You must stay awake at night thinking up which cars and years to pit against one another and this one got the troops stirred up! You did GOOOD!
Pontiac but a competitive comparison. 👍

Hopefully there's room for another vote for Dodge? I have friends with tri-power Pontiacs and their 318 HP is nice. The top engine for the '60 Polara was rated at 330 HP, and that's probably conservative. Having driven both MOPAR and GM specimens from 1960, I much prefer the handling of the MOPARs equipped with front torsion bars.
