Never a fan of the Buicks, so Mercury for me today.

I went for the swoopy Buick. To me it's more cohesive.

Without hesitation, I vote a TIE! In fact, if you were to add the '60 Chrysler to the mix, I'd still vote a TIE. But that is where it stops for me. To my eyes, 1960 was a bad year overall for the Big Three from a styling perspective, but Buick, Mercury, and Chrysler were the cream of the crop. Every other car from '60 doesn't do a thing for me.

I have always loved the rather unique styling of the '60 Mercury. Buick is a great looking car too but I prefer Mercury.

@jack-dodds the Merc is about as stylish as an electric razor to my eyes, the Buick is in you face insane! I love it!

I love the Buick. It's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. The Mercury does nothing for me. The front is bland and the rear is just weird looking.

When I first met my first wife, her parents had given her a new 1960 Mercury Park Lane Mercury convertible in light blue with a white interior. Less than a year into our marriage, the newness of the marriage wore off but not mine for the Mercury which unfortunately went with her in the divorce. The Mercury is still one of my favorite cars but in this comparison, I have to say the Buick is the winner with it's unique styling details.

What Gary said. Dad had a '60 Buick in that color when I was a kid. Ours was a flat top though.😊

The one & only full-size Buick I actually like. Though I generally prefer Mercury the '60 is too bland & puffy. Buick today please.

Absolutely no contest here for me.. the Buick for its outstanding styling. I believe the ‘60 Buick to be #1 in GM design for that year. Now ask me how I really feel.Thnx John.

I’m looking at the Buick again and scratching my head as to how did those beautiful fenders ever get stamped ?
