For me, hands down, THE MERCURY for 1960!  

If you'd have put the same two cars in a 1959 "Which One?", I'd have chosen the Pontiac.  The '60 Merc is drop-dead gorgeous to my eyes, while the Pontiac is more bland after their beautiful '59.

I'll take the Pontiac. Clean lines, pretty blue, and it's a Pontiac.

'60 was an excellent year for Mercury, while Pontiac styling took a step backwards from the spectacular '59.

Thank you Frank!  Nice model for sure!  I've not went the 1:43 scale route.  I'm afraid it would be an addiction I wouldn't be able to handle or afford.  Smile

The Mercury this time, the Merc was a beautiful car, far more so than the Pontiac. Now if this was '59, it would be the opposite choice.

A rare tie for me this time; both are very nice cars.  For 59 and 61 it would be Pontiac easily.

Never cared for the '60 Mercury but prefer it to the '60 Pontiac. Both were 100% better in '61.
