My all time favorite Olds. '61 to '63 T-bird just don't appeal to me, like the '55 to '60 do. Yet they are much better ['61 - '63] than the '67 up.

Years ago I owned a 62 Starfire coupe and currently own a 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadster so I am tossed on which is my favorite. I'm going with the T-Bird in this case.

NO-CONTEST!  The OLDSMOBILE by a styling landside.  I owned a '62 Starfire and that baby was styling and profiling personified.  It's not that I don't like the Thunderbird, but any '62 against the Oldsmobile doesn't compete.

Looking at them as individual cars, rather than as competitors, I choose the Starfire.

Although I love the T-Bird, I absolutely love the Starfire.  IMO, the 1962's are the best looking Oldsmobiles ever produced.  This sales brochure pic shows the futuristic Olds with a young, happy, carefree couple cruising up the highway passing a mid-century modern home where the owners are enjoying a barbecue on their deck, which overlooks a river.  The Mississippi? The riverboat might provide a clue. Could life be better?!

61 thru 64 Oldsmobiles are my favorites, especially the 62 Starfire. Love the picture , Pete!

@pete-rovero I agree with Pete and voted Oldsmobile; although I also love the T-Bird.
