'62 Chevrolet or Ford?

I'm personally drawn to the Chevrolet's styling for '62, over that of the Ford.

Both of these cars were beautifully styled and improvements on the very well done 1961 versions. I give the nod to the Impala simply because IMHO this year is the best looking Chevy of its decade. The design and trim on the tail end seals the deal for me.

Love them both, but I am a Ford man at heart, so the Ford today. GM & Ford full-size cars were all great '61 - '64.

I echo your sentiments Mr. Dodds. Put every Chevy for the 1960s side-by-side and the '62 is by far the nicest looking (to my eyes). The only other two for that decade that I thought were totally great lookers were the '61 and the '65.

Dayum George, those two Chevy years are my favorites too. I know we've discussed that before years and years ago...lol.

Even though I'm mostly a Ford guy I've got to go with the Chevy for '62. Its styling beats the heck out of the Ford.

My vote goes to Chevrolet in 1962. Nice clean lines and like the rear light treatment.
