Oh you devil John - I love your choice today. The Riv is class personified. I'd so enjoy stylin' around town in that beauty. But in the final analysis, I'd rather 'drive' the sporty T-Bird anywhere any time.

The Riviera for me, the Tbird is very cool but the Buick is an all time favorite of mine.

I have 1/18 diecast replicas of each of these beautiful personal luxury automobiles.

The Riviera beats the Thunderbird. It's so beautiful. The Thunderbird is great too.

Also, two fantastic names!

Both are iconic but for daily driving, I would prefer the Thunderbird.

Being a pro Ford, anti Buick man I should choose the T-bird but, I don't think the hardtop looks right on the bird.  If the bird was a convertible I would choose it. As it is I choose TIE for today, but neither would be on my purchase list.

@perrone1 Tony, I am with you on this pairing.  I like the Buick, but the 61-63 T-Birds to me were great looking after to me the 58-60 were disappointing.

I really like both but being prejudiced owning a 63 Thunderbird, I have to go with the Bird by the slightest of margins.

Tie !  I couldn't choose one over the other when I was 10 and sixty years later I still can't. I always loved that year T-Bird and the Riviera was a home run too in its debut. Steve

John, how could you be so "mean" to us this morning ? 😭

Interesting how in time, some cars grow on you a little.  Though I choose the beautiful RIVIERA without hesitation, I wouldn't be opposed to the Thunderbird being in my driveway, which is something I wouldn't have said a few years ago.  The T-Bird grew on me.

Y'er killin me!  This is as close to a tie as I have ever come! Today...this afternoon, I'm going with the Buick. Check back after supper.

I agree with JK; as close to a tie as possible....but the first year of the Riv blew me away and it still does.  Sporty elegance...it wins by a hair.

Love both but it's the Buick Riviera that gets my vote.

Gents, thanks for your responses.
