'64 Chevrolet or Ford?

Back in the day, it would have been the Chevy. Today, it's the Ford. Look like this one has a 390!

I have always loved the styling of the Impala ('61 to '64 era) and prefer it this year over the very nice '64 Ford. I much prefer the styling of the '63 and '65 Ford.

I tied these today. They both look great but 1965 blew them both out of the water.
And that's despite me using a portmanteau of 500 XL for my email address (along with Fireball XL5).

The 64 was my favorite out of the 53-56 series. So my vote goes to Ford.

'64 Impala, along with the '55 my favorite Chevy, BUT the Ford Galaxie wins '60 to '69.

I've never liked the style of either of them. The 63s & 65s yes, but never the 64s for some reason. I think the 64s are just too plain jane looking. And BTW no offense to Jane !
