Both long, sleek and elegant. But the Pontiac Grand Prix - for me!

Grand Prix styling makes the Olds look a bit sedate in comparison.

Pontiac for me. This was the beginning of a styling period by Oldsmobile that I did not care for.

I did like the Cutlass/442 of the era you mention but not so much the full size Olds.

@jack-dodds I like those also. Cutlass styling changed in '66 to more closely resemble the full-size Olds styling theme established in '65. I don't like the '66 Cutlass either.

My goodness, it is rare to see such consensus at this point in a selection process. I too prefer the Pontiac.

Sorry to be the one to ruin the consensus, but I vote for the OLDSMOBILE!  It oozes with subtle style and elegance, while the Pontiac looks like forced "you gotta look at me car" to my eyes.

I didn't even look at the photos before I voted Pontiac. 1965 is up there with the best Pontiacs (1963 GP, please), which means the best 1960s cars.

Liked the GM full-size cars '61 to '64 after that I don't care for GM styling, go to mid-size in '64 to '70.  I vote tie because I don't like either one.
