Absolutely a no-contest on this one.  I vote PONTIAC!  I wouldn't turn down the other two, but I'd see the Pontiac first!

Tie between the Dodge & the Mercury, just don't care for Pontic styling after '64 in full-size cars.

I am partial to the 65 Bonneville and if we were talking convertible that would have my vote but in this case that Mercury is lean and clean and gets my vote this evening.

While I really like the lines of the other two, I'll go for the Pontiac on this occasion. Thanks John.

Pontiac looks premium and drives that way. Other two tie.

I'm thinking that - based on the front end - that Bonneville might be a '66.  Regardless, it gets my vote as our family had a '65 Star Chief.

1 Merc

2 Poncho

3 Dodge

I chose the Merc as we had a '66 Parklane when I was in h.s. I LOVED that car !

Stand on the brake and hit the gas leaving rubber behind you !  Fun times !

@skip I was thinking the same thing when I posted it.

A '65 now appears.

For me the Pontiac with a close 2nd to Mercury.  As much as I love Mopars, this one just does not make the list.  Not to say if someone gave me one I would not love it, but I would not go out and buy one.

I really wanted this to be a harder decision. I like all three cars and I looked at the pics for more than a few moments. But, that '65 full-sized car design from GM is simply too captivating. It has this gentle flowing curve that starts at the front of the car and rises near the c-pillar to meet the roofline and then both lines flow into the quarter panels. On the Pontiac, that line is mirrored by the rocker panels. The overall design is so smooth, so integrated, so classic. Pontiac wisely kept it simple using the stacked headlight as the starting point for the lines that flow smoothly through the rest of the car.

The Mercury crisp styling and roof line give it a very close win over the beautiful Pontiac.  The Dodge is a distant third.

The Dodge and the Mercury are styled in the same straight-lined vein, the Pontiac looks much more glamorous!

And the red, white and blue colors are very fitting, nicely done John!
