Congrats, once again John, on just how much effort you put into these choices! Two somewhat obscure cars by today's standards. Neither one push my buttons, so to speak, but it's remarkable how close in styling they are to each other. Not sure why, really, but I'm going with the Park Lane.

Mercury for the easy win.  I much prefer the Mercury styling and finish and find the Dodge grille to be rather unattractive.

I too also prefer the Mercury in this pairing although they have a lot more common in styling than I had thought.

I had to go with the Dodge, being the Mopar fan that I am.  The Merc does look good but.....

Yet another tough one. While they look alike in the photos, in person, the Mercury would look significantly larger. It's actually 7 inches longer than the Dodge. Still, I see them as roughly equal in the marketplace. So, for me, once again, it would get down to the interior. They're pretty close there, as well. My vote goes to the Mercury.

Let me add my thanks to John for making this such an enjoyable part of our day!

Mercury's crisp looks for me compared to the Mopar - but it's interesting how similar the Merc looks to Mopar's '66 Chrysler!

@graeme-ogg

The Chrysler is a 1965 in your comparison. Doesn't necessarily change your premise.
