Two words - Meep Meep!!

I never cared for the rear styling of the Chevelle's roof. In 1970 they got it right! But the Roadrunner is Wicked Cool!

I like the SS better. Both cars are awesome. But I would take the driveability of the 396 over that of the Hemi. The interior of the SS is nicer as well.

I owned a '69 Chevelle (very similar body) back in the day. Sold it in '75 for $500 (ouch). Wish I still had that one! Chevelle is my pick.

Great comments, I’m giving slight edge to Plymouth, would be happy see either at a red light.  😎👍

The '68 - '70 mid-size Mopars had the brawny looks to match the brute force of their powerplants and rock-solid suspensions. This Roadrunner is the embodiment of exactly what a "muscle car" should be!

Very easy for me today!  PLYMOUTH gets my vote!  The Chevy is odd shaped to my eyes with the curved roofline not flowing right for the car, and then there is the weird appearing "unattached" front bumper.  While the Plymouth is straight, sleek and uncluttered front to back.

'68 RR for sure but in '68 I bought this one:

68 Coronet RT (2)
68 Coronet RT (3)

No actually this one,

6 68 Super Bee (3)

The R/T was too expensive for me. First Super Bee [383, 4 speed]sold in Conn. [according to the dealer].

@jkuvakas I agree with JK and pick the Chevelle.  I would add that the Chevelle trim finish is better as well.  I am very partial to the '68 thru '70 Chevelles; especially the gorgeous '69.  The Plymouth is an awesome car as well.

Mopar for me in 68.  I did not like the taillights on the Chevelle in 68, but then in 69 it made a big difference.

Another tough call John. As has been stated, either would be welcome in my garage. In this case, the slightest edge to the Chevelle which I happen to like and even more for 1969.
