'71 Ford or Plymouth?

For a while I drove a 1971 Ford Torino with a 2-bbl 351 cid V-8 engine and our family had a 1971 Dodge station wagon with a standard 383 cid 2-bbl V-8 motor.

Meep, meep! Road Runner for me please John!
Ford Torino Cobra 429 is a bit larger, at 206.2 inches length and 3916 pounds. Where the Road Runner, even with the 440 six pack, is 3900 pounds and is 203.2 inches in length. Somewhat more svelte.

Plymouth. Love the fuselage style and the graphics. Lose the vinyl roof though.

Although I thought the '70 Plymouth was mid-size Mopar perfection, I still prefer the '71 Plymouth to the Ford.

Nice! I have always been a fan of that generation Torino. IMO, it looks much bulkier in photos than in person. But the generation Plymouth has been growing on me for decades. With that 440-6/4 speed, the RR gets my vote today. But it was a squeaker!

I don't like either of these cars well enough to own one but I do prefer the styling of the Torino by far. Roadrunner/GTX body styling fizzled for me after 1970.
