Dodge for me. I like its style and its engineering, if not the dog dish wheels.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
The Mercury looks bloated to me while the Dodge looks trimmer and ready for action.
On this pairing I would have thought I would have picked the Dodge, but the Mercury with it's fastback design and those wheels make it stand out. I don't care for the dog dish wheels on the Dodge and if they were different, my pick might have changed. Today it is the Mercury.
My favourite for 1969 was the Chevelle. Of this pairing, I lean slightly to the Dodge Super Bee despite its very plain side look.
Love the Dodge and those simple "Dog Dish" wheel covers. It's a car that's plain, but looks like it can tear up the road. The Mercury on the hand is a styling turn-off for me. I've never been a fan of that Fastback look and the square boxy front-end doesn't grab me at.
So today I vote DODGE!

Geno, that's one sweet ride!Oh, way too easy. The '69 Super Bee is one of my all time favorites. I love that bodystyle. It looks wicked sitting still.💯🤑
My Coronet R/T version.

Super Bee for me today. This year is my favorite; love its aggressive look. Mercury is a nice car too but the rear end is a bit heavy /bulky looking.
One of the standard features of the Coronet R/T package was the full disk wheel covers and the rims were black [not body color]. I didn't care for the full wheel disk and could not afford [after buying the car] a good looking set of mags so I bought some chrome lug nuts and dust cap with the black rims.
If I bought a car with poverty caps they quickly became nut & bolt containers or chrome trim rings had to be added. Car body color rims turn me off and made it look cheap to me, add the poverty caps and I would feel I mite as well buy the bare bones stripped down four door base model.
I vote as always for the car not the pictures presented, DODGE please.
Without even looking at the pics I chose Dodge.
The Dodge is cool! But the Mercury gets my vote, I have always loved the style of this year.
