I loved the Mustang early years but by 1969 it was looking heavy and slightly ungainly to me. On the other hand, the Camaro still looked fresh and exciting, although I liked the 1969 Firebird more.

1969 is my favorite year of Camaro; love the styling and power options.  The Mach I Mustang is very nice too in the right color but second to Camaro.

Camaro. A more fully put together package IMO. Both terrific.

Both awesome cars but I choose the Mustang, move it up a year into '70 and I'd pick the Camaro.

For looks I went with the Camaro, a little too much going on with the Mustang (although quite the performer)

I like both, especially all the options so that the buyer could practically design his dream car.  I admit that I bought Mustangs as commuting cars for about 15 years. But these two?  I vote "no choice." I guess that's "tie."

Mustang all the way, my favorite year. If it was ‘70, I’d go with the Camaro.

I didn't care for the headlight treatment on the '70 Mustang; it ruined the attractive front end of the '69.  I loved the new Camaro design for 1970, but not as much as the '69.

No contest, the Mustang. Boss 302 & Boss 429, both avail. in 1969, from the factory!

CAMARO by a landslide for me.  By '69 the Mustang had become bigger looking and not as sporty to my eyes.  The CAMARO on the other hand was just a "jump in and drive me car".  Sadly, again to my eyes, the 1970 Camaro became an odd looking animal that resembled nothing of its former look.  I was NOT a fan.
