But most important to me, it's how they look to my eyes that matters! I've never bought a car to impress someone else or to boast of its get-up-and-go from the stop-light. As I said, I'm odd for a guy.
Believe it or not, most of us are not out to "impress someone" or "boast." We all enjoy a nice-looking car, but that is totally subjective. Many of us enjoy a nice-looking car that's fun to drive and see muscle cars as a well-balanced combination of the two.

@georgeschire Yeah but...but....the Buick has a 455 with 510 ft. lbs. of torque....major "suck ya back into the seat" action!

Sorry, means nothing to me. What you describe sounds more like a vacuum cleaner. I'm sticking to looks only on these "Which Ones?" and for any car I will ever buy. It just needs a motor. Whether it goes from zero to 60 in a nano second will never draw me in.

Most importantly, each to his own, I’m just giving my thoughts here. One of the most special things to me about a good muscle car are the visceral feelings of a loping cam and the shaking and shuddering of torque being unleashed as your leg is letting out a stiff clutch. I love the noise, the smells, and all of the ungodliness of the event. Hell, I only get to see the look of the car when I’m not it!

For sure, to each their own. Your description sounds more like an amusement park ride than a car. Oh, and for the record, I don't like them either.

@georgeschire An amusement ride is actually a Great analogy George. At 72 years, I probably need to mature, (according to my wife, not me!) C’mon man, I wish I’d known you back in the day. I could have given you a thrill ride in my ‘65 Goat!

Next month I'm turning 74 years old. I've always prided myself on being mentally mature beyond my years. Before climbing a tree, I was wise enough to realize that I could fall out of it and get hurt.

@georgeschire Are you related to any ‘Willaman’s, you sound like my wife. I fell out of just about every tree I climbed up, and never did figure out what the heck happened! Sure had fun though once the casts came off.
George, we're on the same page. If I don't like the looks of it, I don't care how fast it goes.
I'll take da Judge. Especially if it's a 455 H.O. 4spd. The Buick is cool too, but not enough to OVERULE da Judge. Both 455's that year had pretty similar numbers.😁

It's THE Judge! Referring to it as "Da" Judge makes one appear uneducated.

It's NOT uneducated at all; it's a little 'tongue-in-cheek' joke. Originally, it was 'de Judge', with an e. As you probably already know, "The Judge" GTO was named for a popular skit on television. I quote from Wikipedia:I'll take da Judge. Especially if it's a 455 H.O. 4spd. The Buick is cool too, but not enough to OVERULE da Judge. Both 455's that year had pretty similar numbers.😁

"A new model called "The Judge" was introduced. The name came from a comedy routine, "Here Come de Judge", used repeatedly on the Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In TV show. The Judge routine, made famous by comedian Flip Wilson, was borrowed from the act of long-time burlesque entertainer Dewey "Pigmeat" Markham. "
Later, the routine of 'Here come Da Judge, was reprised by none other than Sammy Davis Jr.
@perrone1 you are correct Tony, my bad, de Judge.😁 But yeah, that is what I was going after, the Laugh-in skit. I loved that show.😂🤣
@georgeschire sorry George, not uneducated, just a little Laugh-in skit fun.💯👍😁
