Pontiac. Its design is so much more sophisticated.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

It’s not just the fact that I’ve never lusted after (or even personally cared for) any Mercury, it’s just that I consider the ‘66 Goat to be one of the finest automobiles ever produced!

Both are beautiful and powerful muscle cars and I am delighted to have 1/18 diecast replicas of each of these automobiles ! As I said before, someday when everyone who is "allowed" is required to "pilot" only a box-shaped, battery-powered government-approved transportation device, these will each look pretty darn nice !

Pontiac. My favorite U.S car sold here in Australia in the 60s.

I owned neither of these. But I owned and loved a 67 Mercury Comet GT.    And I owned and loved a 64 GTO.

Comparing these 1966 models is easy, at least for me - Gran Turismo Omologato!!
