The only thing I like about the '57 is the rear-split window. But when I see that split window, I think of the '57 Oldsmobile, and then when comparing the Buick to the Oldsmobile, Buick loses me.
And for what my opinion is worth, the biggest mistake General Motors did with regard to the '55 and beyond Buick's, was they went away from the "toothy" grilles. It, along with the "port holes" were Buick trademarks, and for me, they way I liked them.

I like the front end treatment of the 56 better than the others.

I’m not that keen on the Buicks of this period preferring the Chevrolet and Pontiac. I don’t reject them, just don’t find any one year better than the other two. A tie!
They are all beautiful cars ! A real example of fine GM design in all years.
Here's another group. They all just look the same. So I went with a tie.
I have no interest in these Buicks they all have the side trim that dives to the ground just before the rear tire or a big check mark down the side which I do not like the looks of. And they are all big boats as far as I am concerned. Oversized bumperettes, bullets or what ever they are called. And the silly little port holes. I reserve the right to dislike all Buicks with the exception of the 1960 -'61
Full- size and the '64-65 Mid-size.

It's my favorite Buick of the 50s.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

How do they possibly all "look the same?". Not through my eyes they don't.
