Nice looking Buicks, if you like Buicks, and I don't.
I have no interest in these Buicks, especially fastbacks.
I love the look of the Riviera HT...just beautiful.
I had the privilege to own several Classic cars and among them a 1949 Riviera I bought fully restored in 2000. It was not detailed to concours condition but I completed the task and enjoyed driving it for many years. It was my dream of decades back. I sold the car to a Buick Dealer in Chicago for his private collection.
I also owned a fully original 1964 Riviera as 3rd owner from new. It was a pre-production GS allocated to the Buick California Bakersfield Dealer and as a gift for his wife. Fully loaded with dual quads and all options including cast aluminum wheels . I just kept it for one year and sold to a Florida collector in 2005.
Back to the 49 Roadmaster...... an anecdote.....
I was never afraid to get in freeway traffic on I-15 and get to speed on the left lane..... I scared many Hondas and Toyotas driving at 90 mph to get them out of the way. This was just a locomotive.
This is tough...coin flip says Riviera Hardtop.
Gents, thanks for your replies.
