53 all the way.The 54 looks like the designers had to earn their keep so they started hanging a bunch of unrelated junk all over it.

Forever like the '53 better.  The '54's strange cut-out rear wheel wells and the tacked on phony looking taillights just don't make it with me.  That said, I'm waiting patiently for Automodello's three '54 releases to add to my collection along with my four '53's.  Can't wait.

'53, a sentimental favorite for me...although it was a Special 4-door sedan, I was brought home in 1955 from the hospital when I was born, in my parents' '53 Buick.
