First John, bless you for your perseverance! Tough call here. I LOVE the color and side trim/scoop, of the Lincoln. Still dislike the sans-headlight bezel look though. Merc 2nd., Ford 3rd.

I love the dashboard on the Mercury and the new overhead valve engine in the Lincoln which the Ford and Mercury wouldn't have for two more years. Lincoln.

I do notice the headlight surrounds, but I'm still voting for the top-of-the-line Lincoln.

Am I in the minority as being one here who doesn't consider engines when choosing "Which One?".  I base my decisions strictly on styling look and appearance, inside and out.  But motors never enter in to my decision.

@georgeschire

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. They usually don't for me.

@georgeschire I'm with you George.  But for this trio, they are all one in the same, so a 3 way tie.

Where does it say the decision should only be based on style? I vote for the total car.

Bob, anyone can base their selection criteria on any factor(s) they choose. There are no right or wrong ways to select a car.

I never said the decision should only be based on style.  I asked if I'm in the minority for basing my choices ONLY on the look, styling of the car inside and out.  My apologies for the misunderstanding.
