They are all such beautiful and classic American automobiles and true dream machines ! The Chevrolet Corvette is really the only car that is still around, although the others, in one form or another, had long runs.
I keep losing it, but I have a photo of myself, with mom and dad, holding a promo model of the 1953 Corvette. It was 1953 and I was 6. It changed my life. I fell in love with cars, Corvettes and almost all-things-automotive.
Next, in interest, would be the bold and dramatic ElDo, the Skylark then the Fiesta.

Umm... you need to find that and never ******* lose it again! 😬 😬
Fiesta first- I love its lines and color separation. Corvette, Cadillac, then Buick.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Buick, Cadillac, Corvette, Olds.
Thanks to a thoughtful kick in the pants, I searched several memory sticks. Found it! Thanks Chris!!"I keep losing it, but I have a photo of myself, with mom and dad, holing a promo model of the 1953 Corvette."

Wow Tony !! It's even in color !! I thought it'd be like one of my earliest model car photos..a tin-type 😂
Corvette ❤️❤️❤️
Buick ❤️❤️
Caddy & Olds 👎
It was actually printed from a color slide MANY moons ago. Don't get me started hunting again, but I have a lot of old tin types/ daguerreotype photos too.......somewhere!Thanks to a thoughtful kick in the pants, I searched several memory sticks. Found it! The only one of this set that I truly liked was the 1953 Corvette. I’d just arrived from England and the others just looked too huge and toothy, compared to what I was used to.
1) OLDSMOBILE 2) BUICK 3) CADILLAC Wouldn't take the other car in the group if it was given to me free. And that holds true for every year since!

Tony...any photo that is "somewhere" needs to be found and saved where it can always be found. Same with any collectible! People that say, "I have it somewhere", many times don't have it anymore or run the risk of not finding it. LOL, you are excused from posting on the Forum until everything you treasure that is "somewhere", is in a place that you can find it immediately. Good hunting.
