I am not a fan of the large tail fin, hence my vote for the 1962 without it. Interesting pairing, John.

Both are awesome, but for me the '61 is diminished in many ways from the gorgeous 1960 version. The '62 kept some of the crucial styling cues and brought forth a beautiful car with changes that make sense.

They are both gorgeous Chyslers ! I had a 1/25 promo of the 1962 Chrysler and currently I have a couple of be-finned versions of the 1960 Chrysler in 1/18 form.

'61 please.   1962's are nice but they'll always be "plucked chickens"  to me.    😔 😔 😔

61 with the big fins.  The 62 looks lost without them.

A rare no interest in these two. I just can't get in to those canted headlights.

John Merritt said it all....my feelings exactly.  The '62 gets the easy nod.

The fins had lost their appeal to me years before. The 1962 was a refreshing clean look IMO. 1962 for me.

My favorite Chrysler, the '62.  In second place and only other Chrysler I really like is the '70 300 Hurst edition, not into luxury cars.

Being 11 years old in 1962, I remember literally hating how the '62 Chrysler was "neutered" in the rear!  I know fins were on their decline, but completely removing them in '62 was too much, too fast for me.

The 1960 Chrysler with its incredibly beautiful "Boomerang" taillights inserted in the Fin, was a masterpiece work of art, and in my opinion the most attractive of any Fin on any car of the Fin era.

The '61 still had a Fin with a somewhat refined taillight, but it was still attractive.  Then BAM!  In '62 the Fin was not only gone, but the rear fender panel seemed to appear it was going downward to me.

Now having said all this, I still like the rest of the '62 Chrysler overall, and I'm a huge fan of the "Slanted" headlights in the front on both the '61 and '62.

But for todays "Which One?", give me the Fins baby, give me the '61!
