I liked the trimmer 62 model the first time I laid eyes on it.  I like the 61 but love the 62.

Like Jack, I like both but lean towards the trimmer 1962 version.

OK, then I’ll be the oddball...it’s the ‘61 by a mile! 👍🏻

Actually, my paternal grandparents had a ‘61 Newport, so it’s sentimental to me...plus, I love the fins!

I'll take the exuberant Exner '61.

Love them both, but I find the '61 to be more "expressive".

I'm conflicted on this one.  My uncle had a silver '61 Newport hardtop and my parents had a seafoam green '62 Newport 4 door sedan.  I guess I'll go with the '62 because I spent more time in it.

I like both, but have to go with the '61 because I liked the fins.  I thought they accented the car so well.  They were in my opinion the best fins of any car during the fin era.  The '60 was nice too!

Years ago I would have picked the 62 but today I pick the 61. At a  car show today, the fins would stand out to most viewers especially young folks. 61 by a hair but like both a lot.

Always loved the '62 styling over the previous years, never could completely accept FINS.

I was amazed that the same basic design looked so good both ways.

Both are very nice but the fabulously finned '61 gets my nod over the '62 "plucked chicken."

The '61 was the way Chrysler transitioned from the '60 to the '62.  Of the three years, I like the '60 the best, especially the boomerang tail lights!
