I didn't even look at the photos. 1955 is classical to 1956's baroque. 1955 wins.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

As the two vehicles are basically the same in looks with only trim differences, I will take a tie this time.

While the '55 Crown Vic is a styling classic and a forever sentimental favorite, I have to go with the '56.  Ford took the excellence of the '55 and tweaked it just enough to make the '56 even better looking.  Nicer grille, more stylish parking lights, and inside, a much more attractive dashboard.

THE 1956 CROWN VIC GETS MY VOTE!

I prefer the '55, but by no great amount.  They were both somewhat overdone IMO, but in today's world they really attract attention!

56 by a slight margin, both really nice and favorites of mine.

I also choose the '56 and for the reasons as stated by George.
Thanks John for two beautiful Fords.

Too much bling on the '56.  Besides, I owned a '55 Vicky.

I too agree with George. I owned a 56 Victoria back in 1960 so I am somewhat prejudiced...mine had factory A/C and the safety package. 1956 also had the twelve volt electrical system. 1956 for me.

Love them both, but the dash/gauges and the 12 volt electric system so I voted the '56.

The '56 is nicely refined from the '55, imo. I especially like the "V" emblem on the deck lid.  If cars back in the day didn't have at least one "V", I wasn't interested. No lowly six cylinder for me! 😆

'56.  I prefer the parking lights and grill on the 56 as well as the taillights.  Plus I owned one just like the one pictured.

I'm going with the '56 for the reasons stated above.

My thoughts exactly......and I like the 56 tail lights a bit more.
