Very slight edge to the 55 for me.  Really like the 56 also! 😎

While the 55 was very nice, every change made for 56 was an improvement IMO. The all new dashboard, to the parking lights, to the side trim, to the 12 volt electrical system all combined to make the 56 a standout.

When looking at photos and asking which I like better, then this would be a tie.  Both very much the same with very little changes.  If you start taking into consideration what updates they have made from year to year, then I would say the 56.

56 for the reasons mentioned plus the Thunderbird engine.

Love them both for looks a tie, which is broken by the dash, 12 volt electrical, engine improvements, hence voted '56.

Bob, you nailed my thoughts to a tee.  I thought the '55 was "Art on Wheels", and then it got even better for '56.  In my opinion, the '56 is the best styled Ford of the fifties.

I agree with Bob J. and pick the '56.  I would also add that the '56 grille and minor tail light change were very well done too.

I agree George.  There were many beautiful 50s Fords produced but the '56 is the best.

Once again John, I like both but I have slight preference to the 1955.

The '55 looks a little simpler, a little "cleaner" to my eye so it got my vote. It's also the year I was born...
