Yikes! I love that roofline on the '59, but the '58 has always been a favorite. I'm voting for the '58.

1959. Pontiac was another step on its upward trajectory. They're both wonderful, but the wide track looks more like the future.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

What beautiful automobiles and Pontiacs ! Two quite different designs but I am delighted to have diecast replicas in 1/18 scale of each of these cars. When I was a small kid, I had a 1/25 promo model of the 1959 Pontiac.

The '59 over the '58 or the '60.

'61, '64, '57, '63, '62, '59, '60, '58 all the Pontiac s I like in the order I like them.

Two very different styles.  The 58 was one of the finless 1950s cars which makes it unusual and like able although it resembles the 58 Chevy.  The 59 holds a place for its wide tracking style.  I have never seen a 59 Pontiac, Buick or Oldsmobile for 59 at an auto show or museum but would really like to see one.

While I'd be pleased to own either one, I really don't care for both all that much. This is my very first, 'No interest' vote.

Come on, they're Pontiacs. I love both for their own style. It's  a tie for me.😁

@car224 It resembles the 58 Chevy because they shared the same bodies.

Love the 58 Pontiacs and only lukewarm on the 59s. 1958.

I vote a rare TIE!

I've always liked both years for different reasons.  The '58 wins me over for the unique roof-line and because I'm a big fan of the GM '58 brands overall.

And the same for the GM '59 line-up, I think each brand (with the exception of Cadillac) is a work of styling are.  In 1960, GM went the toned down boring look and I'm not fan of any of them.

1959 for me, it is a world of change over the '58 and as with every other line of GMs 1959 offerings, totally amazing.

In 1958 my favorite car was the Pontiac; same thing for 1959. Between these two years I’ll go for the ‘59 by a very small edge.
