No wrong answers here - I'd go with a tie but that essentially negates a vote. OK, the fifty-seven for me please.
I am a lover of all things Pontiac; especially in the 50s. This one is very close but I give the nod to the '55.
Like both but voting 55 for those chrome strips and bumper with Corvette flavor. 😎👍

Buddy's HS car was a 1957 so choose that- we had some adventurers in it- usually at high speeds-
I like both! But if given the choice of which one I'd prefer in my driveway, the '57 wins! Regarding the '55, I've always felt that of GM's ladder line-up for that year, the Pontiac was the least stylish. With that comment, I rank GM's '55 line-up this way: 1) Oldsmobile 2) Cadillac 3) Chevrolet 4) Buick 5) Pontiac.

'57 one of my favorite Pontiacs along with the '61 - '64. GM styling in '55, the only one I like is the Chevy. In '57 all GM styling was great, with Caddy leading the way, Pontiac, Olds, Chevy, Buick. '55 & '56 I much prefer the FoMoCo lineup
Both nice but 1955 is best for me with the chrome strips.
For me I didn't even look at the photos before I voted 1957.
I never catered to the postwar pre-1957 Pontiacs, and the renaissance that became Pontiac as a star marque began in 1957.
This for me is not an 'I like them both" decision.

Too funny. With regard to General Motors 1957 line-up, for me the Cadillac is the least attractive after perfect '56 Caddy. For '57 my ranking: 1) Oldsmobile 2) Buick 3) Pontiac 4) Chevrolet 5) Cadillac. And the Cadillac was in 5th place to my eyes in 1958, 59, and '60. After '56 GM lost their minds with the Caddy styling in my opinion.

1955 for me as my dad bought a 55 Star Chief. In 1956 I took my drivers test in that car.

A very cool car it was too Bob and a very worthy and welcome replacement for the totaled '54 sedan as you mentioned "a day or two" ago.
Got to go with the '55. A neighbor who lived directly across from us had a new one just like the one pictured. Yes, it's the same as TFM release which proudly resides in my display.
