'55, '56 or '57 Pontiac?

Reverse order for me; 57 - 56 - 55. The three never fully lit my lantern. I will give bonus points for the 56 that John shows here because of the period nostalgic curb finders!!
But I like the 57's shape a little more than the 55-56 styling; especially the tail fin set-up like the B-25 Mitchell.

I like the chrome hood strips that make this a Pontiac to me. 55, 56, 57. 👀

Great choices! I'm with Tony on '57, '56, '55. To my eye, the '57 looks lighter and more nimble and... it's a Bonneville!

Of the GM Pontiac's for the Tri-Five years, the '57 is the hands down the most attractive. The '55 and '56 were just okay to me, but no standouts like the '57. Of the GM cars overall for these three years, the Pontiac's are at the bottom of my list.
And just because I'm thinking about that "list", here is how I rate each GM Brand for those years.
1) Cadillac (style and regal lookers by a huge margin)
2) Oldsmobile (beauties that will always have a place in my heart
3) Chevrolet (I think all three are works of art)
4) Buick (the only one that I like better, is the '54)
5) Pontiac (as I said above, "just okay to my eyes")

These are all wonderful-looking Pontiacs, and my family had a new 4-door 1955 automobile in two-tone blue. I have several Highway 61 diecasts of that year's Pontiac and they definitely are highly-regarded replicas by me.

'57 Pontiac please. The first Pontiac I ever really liked.
There are only two cars before '57 in the entire GMC line that I liked both Chevrolets, the '52 the '55. But, the '57 model year I liked the entire GMC line in this order; Cadillac series 62, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Buick.

Along time fan of the '55 followed by the '57. The '56 is my least favorite.
