AS WE BEGIN THIS THANKSGIVING WEEK...

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, George. For that matter to all of us. It's one of our favorite holidays, usually with friends as family is far apart or gone altogether. Our friend who hosted Thanksgiving for decades is getting ready to fly here tomorrow and we will return the favor. We (all of us) really are incredibly blessed in so many ways.

Nicely said George and Ed. Lori and I never had children but our friends are our family and we treasure them dearly all through the year and especially this time of year.
Wishing all the D4C community a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. We're grateful for our many blessings.

"Lorraine and I baked our Pumpkin Pies to be delivered to all of our neighbors, which has been our annual tradition on this day for the past 32 years."
Wow - that's really something George. 🍾 🥂
I share all of the sentiments expressed and consider Thanksgiving to be the most important holiday celebration of the year. Aside from family enrichment, this is because it causes us all to stop and think about how incredibly fortunate we are to live in our western culture. In these troubled times when traditional values are being challenged by individuals/groups with hidden or nefarious intentions it is critical to have such a formal reminder to communicate to the younger generations the value of the society we live in and recognize the hard work and tremendous sacrifices made by earlier generations.
I love to listen to "Memories" by Maroon 5 at this most important time of year. And, yes, I get emotional as the lyrics are awesome to me.

Well said all. Yes, at times we all tend to forget the blessings in our lives. But we truly are blessed. Happy Thanksgiving to each of you AND your families, my friends. Gene & Deb.🙏😊
