Four prop airliner in 1949. It went from Norfolk, VA to Hialeah, FL.
First car over 120 was my '72 Stingray on a piece of yet-to-be-opened interstate in 1972 in Florida.
…was in a Taco Bell in El Paso…
My first visit to a Taco Bell when moving to California resulted in 120 MPPH. That'd be 120 MiniPoopsPerHour. I avoided Taco Bell after that 😂
First car I Drove over 120 MPH in 1967 in the '66 Coronet 383, 4 speed, 3:23 sure grip.
Twin to the first car I road in above 120 MPH, 1959. I had been up to around 100 mph on quite a few times in various cars.
Charlotte Motor Speedway best lap average speed 156 mph means on the back stretch I was doing better than 172.
'68 Super Bee fastest top speed on the road 148 mph down hill with a tail wind on the stock speed-o, could not bury it. Non certified 150 mph factory speed-o-meter.
'82 Yamaha Maxim 1100, fastest I rode it was 137 mph, but I was in 4th gear instead of 5th[dummy].

@terryslekar I hope the local meteorologist is given a heads-up about your Taco Bell visits and issues a public alert about the pending wind warning Terry!

Terry has one of those "wind driven" rotating doo-dads on the roof of his car but it's only active when in the Taco Bell drive-thru.
@100ford2003 By the look of those shorts the first stop for Terry after a Taco Bell drive thru would be the auto upholstery shop.....or the fire department.
