Nice comparison John. I like all three but I have always liked the 57 Fords for their restrained style. Tie for second.

Nostalgic vote for the Ford, for me. I owned that car except for mine being white where this one is yellow. Chevy next, then the Plymouth.

Ford. To me it's the prettiest, especially in these colors. Plymouth next.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

Never a fan of the Chevy.  Tough on the other two, but I went with the Plymouth.

Ford gets the nod by a slim margin over Chevy but I love them both.  My main reason is the Ford trim design and how it enhances the 2-tone color separation, plus the tail end design is much better looking.  Plymouth is a distant third.

The "Suddenly, it's 1960!" Plymouth truly does look years ahead from a styling point of view!

1. Plymouth. A dramatic and well-balanced piece of styling (never mind that it would rust out 2 years later, it looked great while it lasted).

2. Ford. Less dramatic but a clean, crisp and and pleasing design for '57. (It got a bit over-decorated in '58).

3. Chevrolet. Although I've always liked the '57 Chevy. and still do, it struck me as maybe the dullest-looking of the three here.

'57 Chevy, love the front & dash.  '57 Ford love the rear & side.  '57 Plymouth like nothing. Being a Ford man I'll break the tie and choose the Ford today.

Always thought a '57 Chevy with '55 rear clip & side trim would be the optimum tri-five.

To me the 1957 Chevrolet, like the 55 and 56 was an outstanding design and stood high against the competition. My father’s 1957 was a ‘chick’ magnet for me when used on dates.
I liked the Ford at the time, the Plymouth not too much. I feel the same today. Bush’s comment on the Chevy is right on.

Got to go with the Chevy being the first car I ever drove. I’d just gotten my permit and went driving with dad.

1) FORD  2) Plymouth  3) Chevrolet

Being honest, I'm not excited about either the Plymouth or Chevy.  But would take the Plymouth over Chevy, for no other reason than that the Chevy is everywhere at car shows and there not exciting anymore.  FIRST CHOICE though, I'd be all over that FORD!
