I, too, love it in all forms. BUT; did you see? For a brief second, during one of the transformations, it morphed into a tri-five Chevy. You'll see the chrome V on the gold hood. Maybe a '57.

When Studebaker became the Importer of Mercedes Benz into the United States, I understand that Max Hoffmann insisted that Studebaker have the right to mimic the iconic MB grill shell which was used on the Hawk GTs.
