Really nice - except for the fraught grille. Curiously uncharacteristic of Frua's normally clean work.
Many of the body lines can be seen in the 65 and 66 production Studebakers which were fairly attractive IMO. My only criticism of the prototype is the too busy grill.
I suspect the grille may have been a desperate attempt to add the visual width which American car buyers in the "longer, lower, wider" era were assumed to find more impressive. Doesn't really work, though.
p.s. For European consumption it might have looked more like this . . .
But then it wouldn't have been "American" enough!

Deja Vu? Looks familiar. The two door looks good except for the grill.
It is a very interesting small car. Studebaker, I think, was looking for the right combination at this time and different designs and designers were being examined and tried out.
