I got to call it a tie. The amount of technology that went into to C8 Z06 is overwhelming. And of course, the performance of the C8 Z06 can only be compared to sports cars costing 2 or 3 times as much. On the other hand, if it were not for the '53 we would not have the 2023. The 70-year history of the Corvette cannot be overlooked or taking for granted.

@georgeschire So George, do you frequently drive on the sidewalks?

I've owned 13 Corvettes- still have a C5- I still get in OK but struggle to get out- so choose the '53-

LOL, never have.  But sitting in a Corvette for me, is like sitting on the sidewalk or driveway.  Smile

I went with the C8, I figure that the cost of a pristine 53 would be much more than the C8. Since I retired and don't have the type of money to purchase one just sitting around waiting to be spent, I'll just keep on dreaming. We just bought a newer car (2019), I could probably part with the money for an early 2000s model Vette if the wife would let me.

One of the three that voted "no interest"  The only Vette's I actually like are the '61 & '62. The best of the older front ends and the best of the newer rear styling. I never fit into them comfortably anyway. '62 yes, 327 FI 360 hp, more horsepower than cubic inches,

 62 Corvette burgandy (7)

love it.
