That's one hell of a Vette! Sadly, the new owner will probably never or barely drive it; I can only assume that at $561,000.00 this was an investment only acquisition. But of course, I could be wrong.

Oh no Chris; I do believe you are right. I've watched FAR too many Barrett-Jackson and Mecum Auctions (Quoting the Shirlmeister) to see these ultra limited editions (1 of 3 with carbon Aero package) and low miles (5) only to see them return years later and fight hard to double their initial selling price.
John, makes you wonder if they will do something similar with the ZR1X.

I've seen one ZR1, orange, also with the aero package. What a beast!
Base Stingray is sufficient if I were to consider getting a C8.

The gentleman who owns the one that I got to see immediately contacted his insurance carrier to increase his coverage as soon as he discovered he had an identical Corvette to the one sold on Mecum.
