God grant me the Senility to forget the people I never liked anyways, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eye sight to tell the difference.
Personally I've always felt that WISDOM and COMMON SENSE go together, and a person is either born with both or they are not. And if they are NOT born with either, they are NOT things that can be learned. The latter is the very reason so many people do dumb things and make bad decisions.
@georgeschire I dunno George. When I look back on some of the bonehead things I did as a young person and recall some of the results of same I can honestly say I learned common sense and wisdom from them. Lol.

I'm guessing you've not come in to contact with as many nutjobs as I have in my 74 years rotating the planet. They do stupid things, but they sure don't learn from them. Consider yourself lucky if you're the exception.
