**NOT MINE** I have NOTHING to do with this other than posting it. This model, with all its realistic detail, was crafted at least 12 years ago. Unfortunately, I do NOT know the "artist" nor have any additional info/pics. I'd love to see how it turned out. I'm not even certain of the scale but if you LOVE detail, you must LOVE this! 😏 😀
At first glance, one would think it was a full sized car. Intricate.
If that is a 1:64 model I'm really quite impressed.

Sorry guys. The precision is just too insane for it to be a model. The detail of the engine, the heater, master cylinder and even the frame. This has got to be a real car photo and made to look like a diecast.
If it is a real 1:1 automobile under restoration or I guess some type of larger-scale model it certainly is a beautiful engine, accessories and engine compartment ! It does seem to be a 1:1 because perhaps actual for-real small stones are stuck in between the tire treads.

NO WAY! I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THIS IS A SCALE MODEL. Obviously, it's large scale and I never said it was diecast; no doubt it's PLASTIC w/some metal here & there.
There are a few CLUES telling you that this is a model:
1) That carburetor is a bit "jenky," it looks fake.
2) The rims appear to be machined but notice the tire seals.... there are none. Clearly, if those were real tires, they'd be flat. There's no way they could hold air.
3) The clutch fan & alternator also look a bit "suspicious."
4) Notice the RF wheel backer-plate? It's far too smooth for drum or disc brakes.
Trust me, this type of realism can be achieved but it requires super-dedication. Checkout "A4 Garage" on YouTube. His 1/24 plastic models will blow you away!
