Here are some old photographs that I have that were taken in the 1920's showing my Grandmother posing with a stylish new 1920's era automobile. In one image, she is sitting on the car's running board along with one of her sisters, who was my Aunt Francis. In the other, Grandma Ruth is sitting proudly behind the wheel. This is in Chicago during those years. I don't know what the make is of the automobile is. At this time, she may have been living in the Logan Square/Boulevard section of Chicago, although one of these images was probably taken near downtown Chicago on a brick cobblestone street.
