Nice job on those lights!ย Practically anything can be fabricated.... ๐ย I don't recall seeing your truck project posted before.ย Man-o-man, that's one awesome weathering job!
I have a PB & KW COE in 1/18 scale. Haven't made any trailers for them yet (other projects for other times ๐)ย I don't have your guts (yet) to weather them. ๐ ๐ย

beautiful work on that tractor ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,weathering is pretty easy to accomplish following the guides on youtube,,,,,,,,my keyboard is wonky all of a sudden so I`ll leave it at that,,,,,,,,,thanks Chris
Thanks John but I had NOTHING to do with this 1/18 KW other than buy it.ย
KK-Scale (Road Kings series) released this about a month ago; I thought you'd enjoy seeing it after I saw YOUR KW project (that you'll finish by Thanksgiving...LoL)
I'm a model RR too so I know about "weathering" but trust me, N-scale (1/160) train weathering is MUCH EASIER than on these "huge" 1/18 scale jobs! IMO, it takes real guts to "mess these up!" ๐ ๐ ๐ ย
10-27- UPDATE PART 1 of 2: Well, for now I'm done. Soon I will decide exactly what "this thing" will be hailing (1957 or 1958 Fords)...probably '58s. Then I'll have to "dirty her up" (weather the truck) if (IF!) I can muster up the guts!ย
As with all projects, compromises were made....a few things here & there...and my decals tuned out a bit "less" than I wanted in some areas but it's ALL my fault and I'm simply too lazy to "back-track."
Overall, I'll be able to sleep at nights so I'm happy (enough). ๐ย
Here it is:ย 1/18 1956 Ford COE F750 E&L four-car hauler transport truck.
@john-barry Thank you John, glad you enjoyed "the show."
more than you know Chris !!!....in this photo below....is all the white material sheet styrene,or is that a piece of foam core????....it looks like a vacuum form was used on the mirror.....is that the case?.......please feel free to claim "trade secret" if I`m being too intrusive
and the HOURS of work that must`ve gone in the roller/cinch mechanisms !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRAVO !!!!!
