@john3976 These '33's are very cool, but I've always been disappointed that the trunks are inoperable. (I know, I'm the only one on the planet who cares about that! 🙄)

You might be right about that, Chris. When I get a new model, there's usually some mod or paint correction I find I'd like to do but there's neither the energy or life span for everything. The ability to open a trunk to find the proper mat, spare and jack kit and labels is just not at the top of my list. That's one of the things I find fascinating hobnobbing with fellow collectors, we view things through different eyes and have different expectations for our models.
@rich-sufficool Your point is well taken. Like most collectors, I'm fascinated by authentic scale detail. Engine compartments (of course) have the most to offer but the "accuracy of simplicity" found in an open trunk (scale and 1:1) is something that I must see. Although I own several models w/sealed trunks (one day I hope to open most of them! 😏) I've passed on many more. I just love trunks....and "frunks!"
A nicely replicated spare is another must! Seeing an open trunk with a "less than accurate" spare can make a maniac out of me! 😠 😠
