I managed to keep myself in check, this week, and focused on my list of 'must-haves.' Surprisingly, I have been very fortunate in acquiring another I have wanted, one that Rich shared with us a couple of weeks ago - a Franklin Mint 1911 Rolls Royce Tourer in mint condition. This gem not only came in its original box and styro, but included the original, undamaged brochure and tag. The first photo is the only one offered in the auction listing and the seller was not responsive to my questions, but I took a risk and it paid off, handsomely. I will let you gentlemen form your own opinions about whether or not I was daft to bid on this one, without additional information.
I do have a question for those of you who own this model: are the seats, inner door panels, and trunk on the rear of the model covered with leather, as they were with the 1905 FM RR SG?

I think you've scored well. I myself have purchased items with only a description of it as proof. The great part is it's worked out well. So we'll it allowed me to post photos upon arrive and sell for double of what I've paid....

Congrats! You're getting into the "Brass Era" rather well. This is a long popular Roller. The material is leather. The same used in a lot of FM and DM models. Not sure it classifies as bovine sourced or a close relative thereof but way nicer than plastic!

As mentioned in my response to Benjamins post above, you have acquired a stunning model, as all of FMs brass era are. Hope you can add the rest of them.

@geoff-jowett I may will add the Packard 1912 as early Packards are on my list, and perhaps the Cadillac 30, but the others are outside of my preference. The Fords are fun, and I have driven a couple 1:1s, but space is still an issue for me so I have to keep the list slim or I may get sent to live in the workshop.
