@geoff-jowett It does look rather nice. I may buy all four colors and then do a test to see which one I prefer.

@geoff-jowett I am curious to learn if you disassembled the Cadillac, or did you mask the chrome, etc?

She arrived and after a bit of polishing, she looks very nice and the marks are barely visible at an angle. I doubt many people would even notice it on the shelf. However, I will go ahead with a repaint on the area I outlined, after I finish the new diorama and another one nearly completed. Busy hands. Here are the new photos of the 2017, one-off, Rolls Royce Swept Tail:
I also cleaned the glass roof and I have to say the Novus products really made a difference in the finish.
When it came to paint, I was surprised to find I already had X-31 - Titanium Gold,and I have to decide if I want buy the X-20 thinner to take my new and unused airbrush equipment for its first run, or pay the hefty fee for a spray can. (I would prefer to use brush and roller, as I do with my mannequin restorations, but it would be impractical for this application.)

That looks great Geoff, it would definitely look great as a contrasting color to the black.💯

Update on the repaint: So far, making progress with the masking, but I want it to be perfect, so parts of the masking may be redone before I am finished. The difficulty is the reflection of light on black, which then looks just like the chrome strips.
