A spot-on comparison of '41 coupes. Durham models are readily available at bargain prices and, despite being "old tech", look great and are of excellent quality!

@john-quilter Yes, a '41 Plymouth would be a great addition! I'll start looking for one. Thanks!

Hi Barry,
Here is a Durham '41 Plymouth which I thought was a Brooklin when first purchased. Detailed the dash and interior for the 1st time in white metal with this perfectly delightful little car. Who knew that beige mit chrome was cool? Have found that the few Durham's in my collection are all beautifully rendered and cast, making for more easy detailing, which is much appreciated.
PS. Isn't Plymouth a MOPAR? 🙃

Cheers and Happy Collecting,

@stewil, that's a very nice model. Durham did a great job.

Spot-On never made a '41 coupe!!! They did do a nice '61 Sunbeam Alpine though! (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

@stewil @john-quilter Thanks for the encouragement, guys! I found a Durham '41 Plymouth coupe for sale in the UK and ordered it. It will make for a nice trio with the other two!

The Plymouth arrived from the UK today so here are the 1941 Chevy, Ford and Plymouth coupes from Durham, all together:

@moe-parr Congratulations on completing this trio.
Western Models did a nice '41 Studebaker that would look good in your line-up (a blue one, too).
The Durham Classics models are really quite wonderful. My 1st was a '34 LaSalle. I really like the '41 Plymouth, I have two of them, but both are convertibles. I'd like to find a coupe someday.

@kenspear That '41 Chevy 4-door would have been a winner!! I visualize it in a period-correct maroon color.
