It's 1959 and you're in the market for a new convertible.

Moe: I really like the color of your 1959 Dodge. I assume that it is a Neo as I do not know of any other manufacturer who makes a 1959 Dodge conv. That is a color that I haven't seen before.

Yes it is and I picked it up from American Excellence at their 40%-off sale last week!

The 1959 Royal Lancer is a masterpiece in sculpting sheet metal. I fell in love with it when I first saw it in the '70s and do to this day. This duck egg / white looks so clean too.

They are both very nice models. I have the Dodge, never got the Bonneville as I have red one in white metal.

This is a very nice model which I remember when they first issued it.  I seem to recall they did it in grey with a soft, almost pastel red contrast. Your aqua / white combination is very nice.  It's a shame we don't see their 43rd. Avenue models more frequently; they're very good.   I have a metallic mid-blue / white '57 Royal Lancer by Western that looks very sporty, too.

Both are nice, but the Pontiac does it for me.

@sizedoesmatter

I voted for the Bonneville too. 1959 is my all-time favorite Pontiac!

I would have to get the '59 Podge .... or perhaps the 1959 Dodiac. Such beautiful cars, both with style, size and with either a big 389 or D-500, a nice helping of smooth power.

And there was the ever popular Chevrolet Impala such as the blue one here.

1959 Chevrolets #1

Or even the more expensive Ford Retractable
