There are several years looking for the closest model of my grandpa Land Rover and finally found something nice...
1971 Land Rover 109 Series 3 Station Wagon by Ixo Models
There is a mistake by the manufacturer as it's been labeled as a 1958 Series 2, but it's a 1971-1983 Series 3 easily recognizable by the plastic black front grille and the front lights on the wings. By the way, it's a very good model at a terrific price of 25 euros. And it's very close to my grandpa's LR..

And it even has the tropical roof!

Looks good. It is always nice when you find a model you have been seeking, which has a personal or family connection.

Congratulations on the find Keko. Looks like a great model.
@mg-harv The green one tempted me since it appeared. It was a very common color for this car. My grandpa had a 1968 Series 2A 88 in the same color as my Ixo. That car had twin headlights, on the wings and on the grill.

I don't desperately need another Land Rover model but I find the cream/beige scheme and the detailing on this one so attractive I went looking for one and ordered it this morning. Thanks for showing it.
